LOCATION  Opened in 1997 Yarralumla Gallery & The Oaks Brasserie is an exciting gallery concept & a long awaited creative oasis on the foreshore of Lake Burley Griffin. The tranquillity & creativity of this unique gallery is further enhanced by its being located at the heritage listed Old English gardens at the Yarralumla Nursery within the centre of Weston Park.

VENUE  Surrounded by leafy trees and gardens, this art gallery-cum-restaurant offers a unique 100 seat wedding pavilion.  Specializing in relaxed garden style wedding ceremonies.  The Oaks Brasserie can cater for canape style, buffet or individual food service receptions.

 

The vision of an oasis of art & informal alfresco brasserie style dining on the foreshore of Lake Burley Griffin, led to the creation of Yarralumla Gallery & The Oaks Brasserie in 1997, now with your influence we have the opportunity to share this venue with you & your guests.

♥  ACCESS: Free, Private off street parking in the centre of Canberra with convenient location for all cab services to all points of our city.

♥  GROUNDS & FAUNA: We endeavour to manicure the lawns 2 days prior to your event both on our property or adjacent to us in the ENGLISH GARDENS. Our local possums, cockatoos & kangaroo regularly make cameo appearances at the most unusual times.

♥  VENUE: Placement of complimentary ceremonial table with white table cloth cover & two chairs for your use, along with two unclothed medium café tables with fresh water bottles/glasses & ten chairs for your guests use.

♥  CELEBRANTS: We can recommend celebrants whom have officiated over ceremonies past.

♥  CEREMONY: Brilliant photo opportunities abound around our heritage listed building & gardens (Events external to our grounds attract a government notification fee.)

♥  FLOWERS: Freshly cut blossoms from our grounds or borrowed  live flowers to compliment your themes when available.

♥  ENTERTAINERS: We can happily recommend artists whom have performed here in the past.
