Offering the perfect combination of elegance and musical experience, Canberra’s Diva String Quartet has built up a successful career over the last ten years. They tailor their performance to suit your occasion, and their repertoire is large and varied, from classical to folk, jazz to pop.

 

All members of the quartet are all highly regarded professional musicians in their own right. Their experience includes full-time employment with the Sydney, Canberra, Tasmanian, Adelaide and New Zealand Symphony Orchestras.

 

Diva String Quartet take great care to listen and liaise with couples and offer advice and suggestions as required. The quartet prides themselves on providing a gracious atmosphere and high quality playing which will complement your special day.

 

While usually performing as a quartet with two violins, a viola and a cello, they are also able to perform as a trio or duet ensemble.

 

The quartet usually play for 15 mins before the start of the ceremony. This establishes just the right ambience for the occasion. They then play for the entry of the bride, at the signing of the registry and again at the finale. Diva String Quartet can then continue to play for the contracted time.

 

For weekend weddings, the minimum performance booking is only one hour, although many couples engage the quartet to play during drinks, nibbles and at the reception.
